Buttered Linguine With Parmesan

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 lb linguine (dry)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • to taste salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook the pasta in boiling water to the desired degree of doneness.
  • 2 drain, but do not rinse.
  • 3 return to the pot.
  • 4 toss in the remaining ingredients and warm over low heat until the butter and cheese melts (about 1 minute).
  • 5 serve immediately as a side dish or entrée.
