Buttermilk Mac' N' Cheese

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (7 ounce) package elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, beat the eggs.
  • 2 stir in the cheese, buttermilk, butter and salt.
  • 3 add the cooked macaroni and mix well.
  • 4 pour into a greased 13 inches x 9 inch x 2 inch baking dish.
  • 5 bake uncovered, at 350 degrees, for 45-50 minutes or until a thermoneter reads 160 degrees.
