Congee

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 7 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan.
  • 2 cook for 2 -3 hours over low heat, stirring frequently.
