Cottage Cheese Lokshen Kugel

Ingredients

- 1 lb cream-style cottage cheese
- 3 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter, divided
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 lb wide egg noodles (cooked)
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 set oven to 350°f.
- 2 butter a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, milk and half of the melted butter (1/4 cup).
- 4 in another bowl whisk together eggs, sugar and vanilla; add to the cheese mixture, mix until blended.
- 5 add in the cooked noodles and raisins; mix with wooden spoon to combine.
- 6 transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- 7 drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup butter over the mixture.
- 8 in a small cup mix together 2 tablespoons sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon then sprinkle over the top.
- 9 bake for about 1 hour or until lightly browned.
