Comfort Goulash

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 -2 garlic clove
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2 add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper. cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • 3 add the tomato soup, beef broth, soy sauce, and stir.
  • 4 lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 5 add the macaroni and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often so that the pasta doesn't stick to the pan.
  • 6 remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top, and when it is melted, it is ready to serve!
