- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 small carrot, cut in coins
- 2 tablespoons star shaped pasta (stellini)
- parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 heat the broth, water and carrot slices to boiling.
- 2 simmer, covered, about 5 minutes until carrots are tender.
- 3 stir in the pasta, simmer, uncovered until the pasta is tender; 5-8 minutes. ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese.
