Bow Tie Lemon Chicken

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 2/3 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
  • 12 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 in strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 2/3 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta according to directions.
  • 2 meanwhile, sprinkle chicken with lemon pepper.
  • 3 in a large non-stick skillet, stir fry chicken with garlic in oil until chicken juices run clear.
  • 4 remove and keep warm.
  • 5 add broth, peas, carrots, cream cheese and lemon juice to the skillet. cook and stir until cheese melts.
  • 6 drain pasta.
  • 7 add pasta, chicken, salt to vegetable mixture. heat through.
