Chicken Spaghetti (with Cheesy Cream Sauce)

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 lbs hen, deboned (or use boneless chicken)
  • 1/2 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 can mushroom (optional)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 lb american cheese
  • 1/2 lb old english cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 stew the hen.
  • 2 debone and tear/cut into small pieces.
  • 3 cook the, onions, green peppers and spahetti (according to package directions), in the water used to boil the chicken.
  • 4 drain water, mix in the chunked chicken, add mushrooms if desired.
  • 5 cream sauce melt butter over low heat.
  • 6 mix in flour and salt.
  • 7 add milk, cook, stirring constantly till mixture thickens and bubbles.
  • 8 add cheeses, stirring till melted and blended.
  • 9 combine all ingredients.
  • 10 put in casserole dish (es) and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
