Chicken-mac Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 (2 7/8 ounce) can french-fried onions
- 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 375 degrees. return hot macaroni to saucepan, stri in bacon, chicken and 1/2 can french fried onions.
- 2 in medium bowl, combine soup, sour cream, spinach, garlic powder and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- 3 spoon half the macaroni mixture into greased 8x12-inch baking dish; cover with half the spinach mixture. repeat layers.
- 4 bake, covered, at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- 5 top with remaining cheese and onions. bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
