Buttered Brown Rice

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef consomme
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can water
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 dice onion, and put into casserole dish with rice.
  • 3 pour beef consomme & water over rice & onion.
  • 4 cut butter into pats and layer on top of mixture.
  • 5 bake, covered, for 60 minutes or until rice is done.
