Ingredients
- crisco
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425.
- 2 grease a medium muffin pan (12ct) well with crisco.
- 3 mix all dry ingredients.
- 4 mix egg and milk in a seperate bowl.
- 5 stir wet ingredients into dry.
- 6 stir in oil.
- 7 pour equal amounts into each muffin.
- 8 bake 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
