Basic Blue Cheese Pasta Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat on medium.
  • 2 let thicken slightly and make sure cheeses are melted.
  • 3 add fresh herbs, minced, of your choice-- in any amount you wish-- if desired.
  • 4 you may not want to add salt depending on the saltiness of your stock, but freshly ground pepper is nice.
  • 5 use pepper if you can find it.
  • 6 serve over pasta or gnocchi.
