Chili-rice Dinner

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 lb ground chuck
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn (drained)
  • 1 cup green pepper
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup minute rice
  • 1 (12 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef, onion and pepper. drain.
  • 2 add spices and all other ingredients except rice.
  • 3 bring to a full boil then stir iin rice.
  • 4 reduce heat cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 5 mix and serve sprinkled with shredded cheese.
  • 6 you can also serve in cooked whole bell peppers and sprinkle with cheese which looks really impressive, but is super easy!
