Basic Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk, warmed
  • 1 -2 lb sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 boil and drain macaroni per box instructions.
  • 2 melt the butter in a skillet.
  • 3 sprinkle in flour and stir until pasty.
  • 4 whisk in warmed milk and let cook until thickened.
  • 5 add cheese to sauce.
  • 6 add sauce to pasta.
