Chocolate Sheet Cake (lady's)

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 8 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup shortening (melted)
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda (scant)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar (sifted)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 in pot on stove combine and bring to a boil 1st 4 ingredients.
- 3 pour into mixing bowl with sugar and flour.
- 4 mix.
- 5 add buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- 6 bake for 25 minutes in a 10x14" pan. (check center of cake with a toothpick for doneness; it's all right for a few moist crumbs to stick to the toothpick.).
- 7 while cake is baking, make frosting:.
- 8 in pot on stove combine and bring to a boil butter, cocoa, and evaporated milk.
- 9 pour into mixing bowl with powdered sugar.
- 10 mix.
- 11 add vanilla. icing will be very thick; you may thin it with a few drops of evaporated milk if desired, but keep it thick.
- 12 ice cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
