Chinese Beef & Rice

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups rice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups boiling water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 4 celery ribs, chopped
- 2 green peppers, chopped
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet, cook the rice in oil over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown.( about 7 minutes.).
- 2 add salt, water, bouillon and soy sauce.
- 3 cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes.
- 4 brown ground beef. drain.
- 5 stir meat, onions, celery and green pepper into rice.
- 6 cover and simmer 10 minutes longer or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
