Cheesy Chicken Pasta Toss

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 10 ounces spaghetti noodles, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/3 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

Recipe

  • 1 cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
  • 2 meanwhile in a large skillet, saute garlic in butter.
  • 3 add chicken, onions and seasonings; cook uncovered for 5-8 minutes or until juices run clearn in chicken.
  • 4 stir in cream and bring to a boil.
  • 5 reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 4-5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • 6 drain spaghetti and toss with chicken mixture.
  • 7 sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley.
