Ingredients

- 8 cups chopped vidalia onions
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup rice, cooked according to package instructions
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f
- 2 grease a 9x9 baking dish.
- 3 saute the onions in a large skillet with 5 tbsp of the butter until golden.
- 4 combine the rice, onions, cheese and cream in a medium bowl and mix well.
- 5 spoon the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 1 hour, or until brown on top.
