Baked Vidalias And Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 cups chopped vidalia onions
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup rice, cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 grease a 9x9 baking dish.
  • 3 saute the onions in a large skillet with 5 tbsp of the butter until golden.
  • 4 combine the rice, onions, cheese and cream in a medium bowl and mix well.
  • 5 spoon the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 1 hour, or until brown on top.
