Chinese Fried Rice With Bacon And Mushrooms

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 750 ml cooked rice
  • 250 g bacon
  • 250 ml mushrooms, sliced
  • 250 ml celery, diced
  • 125 ml spring onions, sliced
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 30 ml soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 dice bacon and fry until crisp.
  • 2 remove bacon and saute onions and celery in bacon fat.
  • 3 cook until tender.
  • 4 add mushrooms, rice and soy sauce.
  • 5 cook for 10 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 6 stir in beaten egg and cook only until egg is done.
  • 7 add crisp bacon and mix well.
  • 8 serve with roast or grilled meats and poultry.
