Classic Macaroni Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 3/4 cup real mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped radish
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 small can albacore tuna (optional) or 1 small chicken (optional)
- 1/2 cup sweet peas
Recipe
- 1 cook and drain pasta according to the package directions.
- 2 combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- 3 chop up all the veggies.
- 4 drain the can of tuna or chicken.
- 5 mix all together.
- 6 *note* add the peas last and stir them gently. you don't want them mushed up.
- 7 toss to coat.
- 8 cover and chill to blend the flavors.
- 9 enjoy.
