Classic Macaroni Salad

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 3/4 cup real mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped radish
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 small can albacore tuna (optional) or 1 small chicken (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sweet peas

Recipe

  • 1 cook and drain pasta according to the package directions.
  • 2 combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  • 3 chop up all the veggies.
  • 4 drain the can of tuna or chicken.
  • 5 mix all together.
  • 6 *note* add the peas last and stir them gently. you don't want them mushed up.
  • 7 toss to coat.
  • 8 cover and chill to blend the flavors.
  • 9 enjoy.
