Creamy Spinach Pasta Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup wine
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 saute garlic in butter over very low heat for 2 minutes.
  • 2 add wine, bring to a boil, add spinach and reduce heat to low.
  • 3 add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  • 4 add milk, increase heat to medium high and stir until sauce is smooth and heated through.
  • 5 remove from heat, add parmesan and stir until cheese melts.
  • 6 serve over hot, drained pasta.
