Creamy Stove Top Macaroni And Cheese

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups macaroni, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2-2 cups whole milk or 1 1/2-2 cups skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 12 -16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (medium , sharp or extra-sharp, 3-4 cups)

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet on medium heat, melt butter; quickly whisk in flour to form a paste.
  • 2 immediately add milk, whisking constantly, to form a smooth medium sauce.
