Chili Con Macaroni

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 2 -3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni
Recipe
- 1 saute onions & garlic.
- 2 add beef and brown. drain off fat.
- 3 stir in seasonings and tomato paste.
- 4 add broth. bring to a boil.
- 5 partially cover and simmer for 45 minute stir occasionally.
- 6 add drained beans cook 15 minute longer.
- 7 cook macaroni according to directions. drain & add to chili.
- 8 heat well before serving.
