Cloud Biscuits

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450.
  • 2 in a medium bowl mix together the flour and sugar.
  • 3 grate cold butter into bowl and mix until crumbly.
  • 4 mix together egg and milk. add to bowl and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • 5 turn onto floured board and knead 3 to 4 times.
  • 6 pat or roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
  • 7 cut out with a 3 inch biscuit cutter.
  • 8 place on an ungreased baking stone or sheet.
  • 9 bake until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
