Cheesy Shell Lasagne..........mmm!!!

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 14 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 4 ounces mushroom pieces
  • 8 ounces small shell pasta
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a non stick skillet cook the beef, onion, and garlic until no pink remains in the beef. drain stir in the tomatoes,meatless spaghetti sauce and undrained mushrooms. bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • 2 meanwhile cook pasta according to pkg directions. drain.
  • 3 place half of the pasta in an ungreased 13x9 dish.top with half of the meat sauce, sour cream and provolene cheese. repeat the layers. sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • 4 cover and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until the cheexe begins to brown. let stand 10 minutes before cutting. serve with garlic bread and a nice salad. don't forget to take a picture!**i use marinara spaghetti sauce.
