Chicken Alfredo

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups parmigiano-reggiano cheese
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 tablespoon wine (optional)
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb pasta (of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 slice chicken into bite size peices.
  • 2 pan fry chicken in olive oil until browned, then set aside.
  • 3 cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • 4 in saucepan; melt butter over medium heat.
  • 5 add whipping cream, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • 6 add half of the parmigiano reggiano slowly stirring constantly until incooperated, then proceed to add the remaining parmigiano-reggiano, again stirring to incooperate.
  • 7 add pepper, salt, and fresh ground pepper to taste.
  • 8 cook sauce until smooth and thickened.
  • 9 remove from heat and stir in wine (optional).
  • 10 in a bowl, mix, chicken, pasta and alfredo sauce; garnish & serve.
