Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups parmigiano-reggiano cheese
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 tablespoon wine (optional)
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb pasta (of choice)
- 2 tablespoons parsley (garnish)
Recipe
- 1 slice chicken into bite size peices.
- 2 pan fry chicken in olive oil until browned, then set aside.
- 3 cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- 4 in saucepan; melt butter over medium heat.
- 5 add whipping cream, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
- 6 add half of the parmigiano reggiano slowly stirring constantly until incooperated, then proceed to add the remaining parmigiano-reggiano, again stirring to incooperate.
- 7 add pepper, salt, and fresh ground pepper to taste.
- 8 cook sauce until smooth and thickened.
- 9 remove from heat and stir in wine (optional).
- 10 in a bowl, mix, chicken, pasta and alfredo sauce; garnish & serve.
