Brie Pasta

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb bow tie pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened but not runny
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 lb brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • fresh parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 cook the pasta.
  • 2 meanwhile in a large stainless steel bowl, mix the butter, egg yolk, and cream.
  • 3 remove the lid to the pasta pot and replace it with the bowl. (double boiler)
  • 4 careful of the steam!
  • 5 use a mitt to hold the bowl while stirring!
  • 6 slowly stir in the brie 'til it melts.
  • 7 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8 when the pasta is done, drain it and stir it into the brie mixture.
  • 9 garnish with chopped parsley. serve imediatly.
  • 10 do not tell your cardiolagist that you have even heard of this recipe!
