Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup barley
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 dash nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 boil the first 4 ingredients together until the barley is tender.
- 2 stir in the remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes longer.
- 3 serve with some crusty french bread.
