Barley Pilaf

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking barley
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a saucepan.
  • 2 add barley and stir until coated with butter.
  • 3 add chicken broth and bring to a boil. cover. turn heat to simmer and cook 10-12 minutes or until barley is tender and liquid is absorbed. remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
