Ingredients
- 1 cup quick-cooking barley
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a saucepan.
- 2 add barley and stir until coated with butter.
- 3 add chicken broth and bring to a boil. cover. turn heat to simmer and cook 10-12 minutes or until barley is tender and liquid is absorbed. remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
