Chili Mac

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 brown beef and onion in large skillet, then drain.
  • 2 add macaroni, kidney beans, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, and salt.
  • 3 cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • 4 add cheddar cheese.
  • 5 cover and continue to simmer until cheese is melted.
