Ingredients
- Servings: 1
- 3 tablespoons whole millet (ground to make 1/4 c flour)
- 1 cup water (divided)
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 tablespoon margarine or 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 bring 3/4 c of water to boil in a small saucepan.
- 2 mix remaining 1/4 c water with millet, salt and cinnamon; add to saucepan.
- 3 stir thoroughly, bring to a boil again and reduce to a simmer.
- 4 cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5 add butter and vanilla after pot is removed from the flame.
